Coimbatore: Due to inclement weather, a 'FlyDubai 'aircraft that was supposed to land at Kozhikode Airport was diverted to Coimbatore.
The 'FlyDubai' flight, Boeing 737 that was headed towards Kozhikode from Dubai yesterday evening was diverted to Coimbatore due to inclement weather.
After making two rounds, the flight landed at the Coimbatore Airport. When it flew to Kozhikode again, the weather was not conducive to land. As a result of this, it was diverted to Kochi Airport.
It is to be noted that recently, an Air India Express flight that tried to land at the Kozhikode Airport crashed due to rainy weather.
