Coimbatore: SDPI launched a week-long campaign on August 25 against NEP-2020, NIA-2020 and other constitutional amendments by the Centre. The campaign will go on until August 31.

As part of this, a demonstration was held in front of the Pollachi BSNL office. Pollachi Constituency President Sadiq Abu Thahir led the protest.

Coimbatore South District Assistant Coordinator Peer Mohammed and Coimbatore South District Traders Wing President Akbar Ali Imam participated in the agitation and addressed the gathering.

Slogans were raised demanding that drafts including NEP and NIA be revoked.
