Poornasundari, a native of the Simmakkal region of Madurai district suffers from low vision. She was a student at the Amma IAS academy in Coimbatore and secured the 286th rank nationally in the UPSC exams.
She met the Minister for Municipal Administration S.P. Velumani and Nallaram Trust President and Coimbatore Amma IAS Academy Chairman S.P. Anbarasan, in Coimbatore and sought their blessings.
Addressing us after the meeting, she said, "This day is an unforgettable day in my life. The Minister is simple and spoke kindly."
Speaking to the girl about her achievement, the Minister said, "This is the victory for your hard work and effort and students like you must secure high posts at the national level.
