A 75-year-old man from Veerakeralam area of Coimbatore was admitted to the Coimbatore GH for treatment August 3 for treatment of COVID infection. He succumbed to his illness this morning.
Similarly, an elderly man from Ukkadam, an 89-year-old man from Ukkadam and a 67-year-old man from Kalampalayam fell prey to the dreaded virus.
These tragic deaths of people treated at the ESI Hospital and GH here have caused shock and sorrow to many.
