Coimbatore: A 26-year-old pregnant woman tested positive for Covid-19 from Thekkalur of Coimbatore district 19, delivered to a male child through C-section at the ESI hospital.
Amid the challenges and increasing COVID admissions, the doctors at ESI have so far treated 16 pregnant women who were tested positive for COVID-19. Ll women have fully recovered from the disease and have delivered through C-section.
"Round-the-clock medical care at ESI hospital has helped me go through this unprecedented phase and deliver the child, safely. We whole-heartedly thank the entire team of doctors and support staff", expressed an emotional women who delivered at the ESI Hospital.
Even today, a 26-year-old pregnant women delivered to a male child at ESI. A total of 43 patients who were undergoing treatment at the COVID ward in the ESI hospital were discharged, today. This includes 12 children, 26 women and 5 men.
