Coimbatore: Valparai footballers and plantation workers felicitated Valparai Ameedu on his appointment as a member of Workers Housing Unit Committee by the Government of Tamil Nadu. Valparai V. Ameedu is also the chairman of the Valparai Plantation Workers' Union and Chairman of the City Cooperative Bank.

He has been felicitated by people from various quarters. Under the circumstances, footballers and plantation workers from Pudukkadu, Shekalmudi, Murugali, Sholayar Dam, Saddle Dam and surrounding areas met Valparai V. Ameedu today at his office and felicitated him with shawls. They also requested that he should keep serving the Valparai area.
