Nutrition Week organised by Integrated Child Development Program in Valparai

Coimbatore: Nutrition Month was celebrated by Tamil Nadu Integrated Child Development Program at Valparai.

Every year September is observed as Nutrition Month. Accordingly, the Nutrition Month Festival was celebrated in children's shelters operating in Nadumalai, Karaj Nagar, Gandhi Nagar in Valparai region.

In this function, the parents were informed in detail about raising children without nutritional deficiencies.



Children should be given vegetable food, small grain food, egg and meat. It was also advised that children should be given milk and milk-based foods up to 2 years of age and should be given nutritious foods.



City council vice president Senthil, children supervisor Nagajothi, staff Tensingh, Jayaram, Geetha Rani, Imglet, Kalish and others participated in this event.
