Sanitary workers belonging to the Tamil Nadu sanitary workers association have petitioned the District Collector alleging irregularities in selection of sanitary workers to receive assistance from the government.
They have requested the collector to take necessary steps to conduct an inquiry about the appointments and to identify the right persons and provide them with assistance.
