MRF, India's largest tyre manufacturer introduced the 'Masseter Tyre' for Two Wheelers. 'Masseter' by MRF, which boasts of being a 'Cornering specialist', is one of the most innovative additions to its range of tyres. Targeted towards passionate bikers.
Masseter was unveiled at a special event at a race track in Coimbatore. Seasoned riders were invited to the race track to test the new tyre and get a hands-on experience of MRF's cutting edge technology. Among the invited riders were the bikers who had made a big contribution to the 'Ride Along with MRF' platform and some who had actively participated in the campaign on social media.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Koshy Varghese, Executive Vice President Marketing at MRF Ltd said, "The idea was to get people to actually experience what the Masseter tyre can do. When it comes to tyres that are used for cornering, a rider isn't going to risk sticking to a tyre of average quality. We wanted to simulate an environment where the rider could test the tyre to the hilt but be assured of his safety while doing so."
The Masseter tyre will be manufactured for two-wheelers with a capacity of 150 CC and above. What makes the tyre special is that it has been built for cornering, which will appeal to riders who like to hit long, winding roads. Everything from the rounded edges, to a soft compound used and specially designed contours has been designed to help riders navigate steep curves with ease.
After an extensive tyre testing session, the MRF Product team addressed the riders and briefed them about the Masseter tyres' features and benefits. The Masseter is not your average tyre. A lot of research, technology and design innovation has taken place in its conception. One of the major highlights of the tyre is that all its features like the compound and rounded profile are perfect for those who ride on the edge'.
