CODISSIA Intec Technology Centre is all set to host its 4th edition of Coimbatore Shopping Festival 2016 from 23 December this year to 1 January 2017, at CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex, Avinashi Road, Coimbatore. This 10 day shopping expo will bring together under one roof vendors from a plethora of segments. On display and for sale at this expo will be home decor products, organic foods, gift articles, solar products, water purifiers, safety equipment and handicrafts among others. A total of 400 vendors are expected to put up their stalls at the venue.
Addressing the media ahead of this shopping expo, K Viswanathan, Chairman, said “Coimbatore Shopping Festival 2016 will be another tool to promote tourism in Coimbatore and we are sure that this event will not only improve trade and economic well being of our Kongu Region but also will be a matter of great pride for Coimbatore.”
At this shopping expo visitors can catch a glimpse of unique products from states across India and artisans from Khadi and village industries from across the state are expected to participate in this shopping expo. Coimbatore Shopping Festival 2016 will have variety entertainment on all days including Pattimandram by Solomon Pappaiah and Team and Tamil folk songs by Pushpavanam Kuppusamy and Anita Kuppusamy and team with orchestra.
This shopping expo will also have facilities like an in-house food court, massive play area for children, ATM machines and card swiping machines to facilitate cashless shopping. Entry to the Coimbatore Shopping Festival 2016 is Rs.30/- per head and kids under five, will not be charged an entry fee. Visiting hours, on all days between 11 am to 8 pm.
