For the past few years, it has been reported that Palaniammal was living in the 1st street in Gandhipuram in Coimbatore. This morning, Palaniammal’s grandson who went to her house in to provide her breakfast found her dead. He informed his relatives and the Ratihnapuri police station.
Police who visited the location conducted an investigation and found that Palaniammal was strangled to death using a cloth and the 2 sovereign gold bangles that she was wearing are also reported missing. The police have registered a case in this regard are investigating the case with the help of forensic experts.
