Following the demise of Former Chief Minister Dr. J. Jayalalithaa, a seven-day mourning has been announced in the State of Tamil Nadu. All state official meetings and programmes will stay cancelled during the period of state mourning as a mark of respect to the departed leader.
Coimbatore District collector T. N. Hariharan through a press release has conveyed that the regular grievance meet hosted at the Collectorate every Monday, will remain cancelled on 12th December (tomorrow) due to the state mourning. However, the next meeting would be held on 19th December, as per schedule.
