RIP, Cho Ramaswamy, founder and editor of Thuglak magazine

Srinivasa Iyer Ramaswamy better known as Cho Ramaswamy passed away in Chennai. Lawyer, Indian actor, comedian, character actor, editor, political satirist, film director, playwright and dialogue writer was the founder and editor of Thuglak magazine.

He will be continued to be remembered for his assessment of political issues, and the audacity with which he published his viewpoints. Among the media circles, Cho Ramaswamy was regarded as an unbiased political analyst for his views.

Cho Ramaswamy was admitted to the Apollo Hospitals in Chennai as he experienced breathing problems and he was undergoing treatment at this hospital for respiratory problems. He died due to cardiac arrest on 6 December. He was 82 and he is survived by his wife, son and daughter.

His funeral will be held at 3 pm at Besant Nagar crematorium, today, 7 December.
