The New India Assurance Co. Ltd, Avinashi branch declared open today

The New India Assurance Co. Ltd, is regarded as one of the largest insurance companies in our country. The Coimbatore regional office of this company came into being on 30 November 1991. To celebrate the Silver Jubilee of this office, a programme was hosted in the city. As a part of the celebrations, G Srinivasan, Chairman and Managing Director of The New India Assurance Co. Ltd., declared open the Avinashi branch of this company.



Coimbatore Regional Office consists of 14 divisional offices, 17 branch offices and 46 micro offices spread over 8 districts. Speaking to the media, on the sidelines of inaugurating the new branch office, Srinivasan said “The target fixed for the Coimbatore Regional Office for the year 2016-17 is Rs 405-crores. The Regional Office has completed premium of Rs 185.81-crores as on 30 September this year. The current target for the company, as a whole is rupees 21,000-crores. The net worth of the company for the current financial year is rupees 32,000-crores and asset base is rupees 65,000-crores. The company is rated A-Excelleny by A M Best.”



As a part of the celebrations, various cultural events were hosted. Employees of the various branches of The New India Assurance Co. Ltd, agents and brokers participated in the programme.
