Srinivasan is from VeeraKeralam in the city. Yesterday, when his wife Banumathi (71) was cleaning the area outside her home, two persons who came on motorcycles on the disguise of enquiring an address stole the 13 sovereign gold chain she was wearing and fled the spot.
She informed the Vadavalli police about the incident. Police upon receiving information reached the spot and inspected the footage that was available from the CCTV cameras from the nearby locations and are conducting an inquiry into the incident.
