Harish (28) who is a resident of Kuniyamuthur in Coimbatore is working in a company in Alandurai. It has been reported that on 20th of this month after calling it a day at work, Harish along with three others left in the car along with the materials used for welding.
On the way, they were stopped by a four member gang who claimed to be police men. It has also been reported that the gang of men attacked Harish and the passengers in the car and stole their mobile phones from them. Following this, the four member gang of men escaped from the location.
When Harish reported this incident at the police station, it was learnt that the people who confiscated their mobile phones are impersonators. Alandurai police on receiving a complaint from Harish, have registered a case and are investigating. The police are also on the lookout for the gang of men who posed as police men.
