Massive fire broke out in scrap market in national capital

A massive fire broke out in the scrap market of Mudka in the national capital on early Friday morning. As per reports, as many as 33 fire tenders are at the spot. There is no immediate report of how the incident took place. Due to the incident, there is a fear of major financial losses.

The market is considered as Asia’s biggest destination for plastic scrap.

Last Friday also at least thirteen people were killed in a fire accident in a factory in Ghaziabad. Many people were also injured during the incident.

On November 7, similar kind of incident happened in the Sadar Bazaar area of old Delhi, which is a popular market for wholesale items. The fire is said to have started with a short circuit.
