Traffic diversion in Coimbatore-Pollachi road due to Aravaan temple celebrations.


In connection the with Aravaan festival that is scheduled to be celebrated tomorrow, Friday, 18th November at the temple situated in Kurichi Privu, the City Traffic Police have announced temporary traffic diversions in the areas connecting to Kuruchi. The diversions will be implemented between 11 am to 2 pm. 

* Vehicles which are going to Pollachi from Ukkadam should take left at Kurichi pirivu and should reach Podanur from there the vehicle should move through Podanur railway kalyana mandapam, Saradha Mill Road, Thakkali Market and reach Pollachi road and proceed from thereon to their respective destinations.

* Heavy vehicles which are coming from Pollachi to Coimbatore should take a left from Mahalakshmi temple junction and reach Madukkarai market road from there they should take a left from Pillaiyarpuram junction and should reach Athupalam through Sugunapuram-Palakkad road and from there shall proceed to their respective destinations.

* Light vehicles which are coming from Pollachi to Ukkadam should take a left from LIC colony junction on the Pollachi road and should reach Madukkarai market road from there the vehicles should take a left turn to reach Machampalayam road and reach Gnanapuram- Palakkad road junction and proceed from there to their respective destinations.

The city traffic police have advised the public to co-operate to this temporary traffic diversion and help in smooth conduct of the festival.
