Coimbatore corporation collects Rs.5.52 crores in various taxes

Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner and Special Officer Dr. Vijayakarthikeyan, issued a press release stating that Rs.5.52-crores has been collected as property tax, drinking water tax and business tax on 14-11-2016. When interacting with the media he said, “Rs. 5.52-crores has been collected as tax from the five zones of the Coimbatore corporation on 14-11-2016.

In East Zone, the tax collected stood at Rs-1.12 crores, Rs 1.15-crores in West Zone, Rs 66.91-lakhs in South Zone, Rs.1.05-crores in North Zone and Rs.1.53-crores in Central Zone has been collected. The total amount of tax collected by the Coimbatore corporation is Rs.5.52-crores.”
