Daylight robbery: 6 lakhs cash stolen from a car parked near Collectorate.


Ramaswamy, a Tiruppur-based businessman who is involved in real estate and power loom business has filed a complaint stating that about six-lakhs in cash has been stolen from his Bolero car this afternoon.



This businessman shares that he had parked his Bolero car near the Collectorate and had left to the Registrar Office inside the Collectorate building. Upon his return after a short time, it was a moment of shock for him as his car glasses were cut open. He was further shocked to know that 6 lakhs worth of cash had gone missing from his car.

In this regard, a case has been filed with the Race Course B4 Police. The theft under broad day-light within close proximity of the Collector office has puzzled the people of the city.
