Rivers are just a source of water for us. Would we bother about the drained and lost rivers if our pipelines pump lasting water...the answer would definitely be somewhere close to 'No'. But the river beds are the home for thousands of species but unfortunately they just had to watch their home massacred by humans.
The birds that touch-based the water bodies and flew away with fishes have died searching the location of the lost water bodies. In groups they've migrated to a better place not in search of rivers but humble human beings who could just live and let live. Noyyal is one such river we lost in our vicinity due to our impetuous behaviour. Presently, a few hearts through their tireless efforts are doing all that takes to sight the river flowing through all directions in the near future.
The dancers of Bhakthi Natya Niketan (BNN) through their graceful movements recreated the Noyyal river for a brief time to the audience. Starting from the flash back of the river to the present condition of the Noyyal it was undoubtedly a time travel for the audience.
The artists delivered through their performance a ray of hope of Noyyal getting back to it's true form by we being more responsible and eco-friendly.
The group performance artists depicted step by step deterioration of the wetlands due to human negligence. The artists reassured through their dance that it's not too late, through all our combined efforts we could bring back all the lost life forms around Noyyal and one day the Noyyal itself. Karunasagari, the founder of BNN organised the event.
