City Corporation launches 'Dial for Debris - 8190000400' for clearing construction wastes.

Under the special welfare schemes announced by the Chief Minister Dr. J. Jayalalitha, our Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation (CCMC) has introduced a special scheme called 'Dial for Debris'. The scheme was launched by Special Officer, CCMC Vijayakarthikeyan. Deputy Commissioner CCMC, P. Gandhimathi and other officials were present during the launch.

Vijayakarthikeyan briefed that 'As per the announced scheme, public can dial 8190000400 if they require any debris to be cleared from demolished buildings and on-going construction sites. The debris collected from such places would be recycled and used to create M-sand, Bricks and Paver blocks. Instead of dumping the debris in ditches and empty lands outside the city by recycling construction debris, new forms of raw materials that is pre-dominantly required for construction purposes can be created at a reasonable cost. Three trucks have been exclusively dedicated to pick the debris and drop at the recycling site'

People can support this welcome initiative by the government urging an eco-friendly environment along with public's participation. Dial 8190000400 to turn construction wastes into usable products.
