Coimbatore chapter of JeIH reaches out to the downtrodden in our city

Coimbatore chapter of NGO Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JeIH) celebrated diwali with the downtrodden in our city. As a part of the celebration, the members and volunteers of this NGO visited the Mercy Home in our city. This NGO is home to children who are affected with AIDS. Sweets and stationery like crayons, colour pencils and colouring books were distributed to the inmates of this home.

A day ahead of the festival of lights, JeIH members and volunteers visited the CMC colony in Variety Hall (VH) road. About 750 families who work with the Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation (CCMC) live in this colony.

NGO JeIH has plans of joining hands with city-based NGO The Arc Foundation to host a medical camp for the residents of the CMC colony.
