Call for applications for the Thanthai Periyar award for social justice for the year 2016

The Government of Tamil Nadu has invited applications for the 'Thanthai Periyar Award' for social justice for the year 2016. Candidates who have worked for social justice are asked to send their details of work undertaken in areas like education, community upliftment and empowerment of the weaker sections of the society. 

Details of work accomplished by the applicant during the last one year must be sent along with the a duly filled application form. The applicant must also share information like their full name, address and bio-data.  

The last date to submit completed applications to the District Collectorate is 10th November, 2016. A cash prize of Rs. One lakh, a gold medallion and a certificate would be honored for the recipients of the award.
