Forest Department personnel have warned motorists and vehicle users to be careful while driving on the Mettupalayam to Kothagiri Ghat Road because of the presence of a leopard in the area.
The animal was spotted in the area during the late evening and night time and hence the warning has been issued.
Apart from leopards, elephants, gaurs and other mammals also use the area.
