"Through his extempore and fiery speeches, TT Rathinasabapathy Pillai always kept the audience spell-bound and he certainly remains to be a role model to many in legal profession", eulogised, Justice S Baskaran of Madras High Court in a fitting tribute event for TT Rathinasabapathy Pillai organised here by the Rotary Club of Coimbatore.

Addressing the gathering at the Rotary Club of Coimbatore function in connection with the release of first day cover and special stamp on former President of Coimbatore Bar Association and past President of Rotary Club of Coimbatore TT Rathinasabapathy Pillai, Justice Baskaran affirmed that "All out efforts were being made to clear the backlog of cases pending in several courts."
Commending the Police department for their efforts to enforce law and order, he lauded that Police department play a pivotal role in enforcing law and order in the society.
Justice Baskaran urged that their services needs to be recognised to motivate them do better. Later, he presented awards to 10 police personnel to honour their outstanding service - Anamalai Inspector Somasundaram, Pollachi East Inspector Subramaniam, Sub Inspectors Chinnagam Mannan, Priyamavatha, Head constables Arumugam, Chinthamani, Sindhu, Ravishankar, Thangaraj and Subha.
Chief Post Master General, Tamil Nadu circle Sampath and District SP, Moorthy, President of Rotary Club of Coimbatore, Santigo Jesu, former special public prosecutor Sundaravadivelu were present.
