In a bid to inculcate the culture of preparedness to handle disastrous situations, a mock drill was organised in Sri Ramakrishna Hospital here on Saturday.

Evacuation, rescue skills were inspected and valuable tips and suggestions were given by experts to the first responders and the staff.

NSS students of Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science also took part in the mock drill.
The NSS students were provided with skill sets to manage critical situations during disaster and how to avoid/minimize casualties.

The mock drill was inspected by Dr. Arun Tharuman, HOD emergency department of Sri Ramakrishna hospital.
Dr. Issac Christian Moses, Medical Director, Mrs Karpagam, Chief Nursing Officer and all staff of the hospital took part.
