In connection with the upcoming Republic day celebrations, the Southern railways have announced their passengers a special gift by adding luxury services to Train No 12243/44 MAS-CBE Shatabdi express.

In connection with the upcoming Republic day celebrations, the Southern railways have announced their passengers a special gift by adding luxury services to Train No 12243/44 MAS-CBE Shatabdi express.
According to the release from the railways, the MAS-CBE Shatabdi express would get extra Anubhuti Executive AC chair car, in addition to the existing Executive AC chair car & normal AC chair car coaches.
Some of the features includes:
*Ergonomically designed seats with foot rest
*Overhead lighting for individual seats
*GPS based passenger information system
*LCD infotainment TV screen
*Improved modular toilets with hands free taps with diffused LED lighting.
