Tirupur, December 29
An old farmer couple, Muthukumarasamy (70), and his wife Deivathal, were found murdered at their house on Koduvai Road, Nachipalayam, here, last night. While the body of Muthukumarasamy was found in the kitchen, his wife’s body was found in the backyard. The Anupparpalayam Police recovered the bodies and have sent them for postmortem.
The police suspect that the couple should have been attacked with deadly weapons. Sniffer dogs were pressed into service . The police have been interrogating a youth from North Indian in connection with the case.
