Coimbatore: Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) in Coimbatore is organizing a comprehensive two-day training program on masala powder and traditional pickle making on July 8 and 9. The training will be conducted from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Post Harvest Technology Centre on campus.
The extensive training program will cover the preparation methods of various masala powders including sambar powder, rasam powder, curry masala powder, paruppu powder, and chicken 65 masala powder. Additionally, participants will learn about ready-to-use paste preparation techniques.
In the pickle making segment, practical training will be provided on preparing mushroom pickle, banana flower pickle, bitter gourd pickle, brinjal pickle, and onion pickle using both modern and traditional methods. This training program is particularly beneficial for those interested in starting their own business or running home-based food enterprises.
Interested participants need to pay a fee of Rs.1,770 (Rs.1,500 + 18% GST) to attend the training. It is important to note that the payment must be made only through GPAY on the first day of training. Cash payments will not be accepted.
