Soon Aadhar compliance to be tested for new Facebook accounts!

 Coimbatore Dec. 27

In a bid to eliminate bogus facebook accounts, Facebook has decided to try Aadhar compliance for select users who are starting their account anew in the social media forum.

However, the rule would not apply for existing account holders but to only those who want to start a Facebook account anew and is now in testing phase.

Facebook has recommended to new users to register their original name as is noted on the Aadhar card for easy identification.

Facebook has over 24.1 million registered users in India, which is next only to the USA in sheer numbers.

The existing users of Facebook are asked to effect changes if they have not used original names (as is found in Aadhar card) and there are no other restrictions enforced on them by the social media giant.
