Three sanitary worker families given Rs.10 lakh solatium each

Coimbatore, December 26

Jagdish Hiremani, Member of National Commission for Safai Karmacharis, distributed a solatium of Rs.10 lakh each to the legal heirs of three sanitary workers who have died after inhaling toxic fumes while on duty.



These sanitary workers of Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation were asphyxiated while engaged in work.



District Collector T.N. Hariharan, and CCMC Commissioner K. Vijaykarthikeyan were present on the occasion.
