Public disrupt the plying of five buses that arrive late everyday

Coimbatore, Dec. 23

Five government buses were prevented from plying by the public alleging that they arrive late everyday causing inconvenience to the public. Six buses of the Bus Route No. 74 ply between Vellalore and Gandhipuram. Since these buses do not arrive at Vellalore on time in the morning, school and college students are invariably delayed in reaching their institutions.

Consequently, the public stopped five of the buses from plying. The protest was called off when the transport officials and the police pacified them. As a result of the protest, the traffic near Vellalore was held up for an hour.
