Inhalation of poisonous gas during clean-up of septic tank; three die

Coimbatore, December 22

Three employees lost their lives while cleaning the septic tank at a gold workshop in R.S. Puram here.

Ravishankar, the owner of the workshop had asked his employees Surya, Ezhumalai and Gowri Shankar to clean the septic tank on the premises. While cleaning the tank, they inhaled poisonous gas emitted from inside it and lost their lives. The police from R.S. Puram Station recovered the bodies and sent them to the Government Hospital for medical examination. 

The case has been registered against Ravishankar for his negligent attitude.
