Sarita Nair solar scam case hearing postponed to Jan. 8

Coimbatore, December 14

Saritha Nair, the main accused in the Rs.26 lakh solar panel scam, appeared in the 6th Judicial Magistrate Court here today for further questioning. 

The case against Kerala- based actress Saritha Nair is in connection with a scam for setting up solar panels in Vadavalli area here. She appeared at the 6th Judicial Magistrate Court today. Since the witnesses were not present for the hearing, Judicial Magistrate Rajavel postponed the hearing to January 8. 

Speaking to media persons, Saritha Nair said that the case regarding the alleged solar panel scam is getting delayed owing to the involvement of politicians. Once the case is completely investigated, former Kerala Chief Minister Ooman Chandy and former M.L.A s and M.Ps will be duly punished, she is confident.
