Bus topples over; 5 passengers injured

Coimbatore, Dec. 14

A bus toppled over in Coimbatore injuring five passengers this morning near L&T Bypass. The private bus belonging to Line Travels, left from Bengaluru yesterday and was headed towards Pathanamthitta, Kerala with 34 passengers aboard. The driver Sajan is from Ernakulam District. 



Around 5 a.m., the incident took place when the driver applied sudden break near L&T Bypass causing the vehicle to overturn. The police from the Madukkarai Station reached the spot and sent the injured to a private hospital nearby. A case has been registered and investigation is on.
