The international conference on Biosciences and Bioinformatics organised by Bharathiar University beginning here on Thursday would be a platform for innovative research deliberations that would motivate young scientists, according to a university release.
In order to disseminate the research in Life Sciences at global level, the departments of Biotechnology, Microbial Biotechnolgy and Bioinformatics will conduct this conference from December 14-16.
Prof. A Ganapathi, vice-chancellor, Bharathiar University, will preside over the inaugural session. Dr. S. P. Thyagarajan, Professor of Eminence and Dean (Research), Sri Ramachandra University, Chennai, will inaugurate. Dr. Shrikant Mane from Yale University will felicitate.
The conference will also bring together various scientists from across USA, Canada, South Korea, Singapore and Australia, to throw light on advanced research across the world, said the release.
