Now apply for duplicates of TSLR online

As part of the initiative to digitise land documents, public can apply for copies of the Town Survey Land records (TSLR) online. According to a release from the Coimbatore Corporation, this could be done by accessing the application on www.tngov.in/eservices.

In 1988, Coimbatore city was resurveyed and the documents were reallotted for 44 Wards and 1,436 Blocks in the region. These documents are now being digitised.

Through this service, people could apply for making changes in the patta for lands within the Corporation limit and also request for copies of the TSLR free of cost. This would help people and do away with the hassle of visiting the government offices to manually apply for the same. Since the copies are digitally signed, they could be used without the self-attestation of the person concerned, by banks or government offices.

T.N. Hariharan, District Collector, hoped that the people would take advantage of this service fully.
