For the convenience of passengers, Konkan Railway will extend the running of Jabalpur-Coimbatore-Jabalpur special train (02198/02197) till April 2, 2018 in co-ordination with West Central Railway.
Train 02198 Jabalpur-Coimbatore superfast special (weekly) will leave Jabalpur at 11 am every Saturday from January 6 to March 31 and reach Coimbatore at 3.40 am on the third day. Train 02197 Coimbatore-Jabalpur superfast special (weekly) will leave from Coimbatore at 7.05 pm every Monday from January 8 to April 2 and reach Jabalpur at 10.20 am on the third day.
The train will halt at Narsinghpur, Gadarwara, Pipariya, Itarsi, Harda, Khandwa, Bhusaval, Manmad, Igatpuri, Panvel, Roha, Khed, Chiplun, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Kudal, Thivim, Madgaon, Karwar, Kumta, Mookambika Road Byndoor, Udupi, Mulki, Mangaluru junction, Kasaragod, Kanhangad, Payyanur, Kannur, Thalasaery, Vadakara, Kozhikode, Tirur, Shoranur junction and Palghat stations.
The trains will have 19 coaches including one composite (2 tier AC + 3 Tier AC) coach, two 3-tier AC coaches, 10 sleeper coaches, four general coaches and two SLR coaches.
