Deadline for revision of Electoral rolls extended to Dec.15:

Coimbatore, December 11

The Election Commission has extended the deadline to Dec. 15 for making any additions/corrections in electoral rolls. 

Those completing 18 years of age by January 1, 2018, change of address, and names that have been left out can add their names to the electoral rolls through special camps being organised. 

Earlier, the Election Commission had announced a period of October 3 to November 11 to complete the process. Now, the deadline has been extended to December 15. 

This could be beneficial for first time voters and those who wish to make corrections in the electoral rolls , said T. N. Hariharan, District Election officer.
