Heavy fog enveloped the areas in and around Palladam in Tirupur district early this morning. As a result, it became difficult to drive on the Coimbatore-Tiruchi highway, Dharapuram Road and Tirupur Road.
To enable a clear view of the other vehicles and avert accidents, drivers had to drive with the headlights on.
People have requested the police to provide adequate protection along the highway during the early hours.
