Hindu Munani protest demanding a grand Ram temple in Ayodhya

Coimbatore, Dec. 6

Urging that a grand Ram temple should be built in Ayodhya, hundreds of 'Hindu Munani' cadres demonstrated in front of the Gandhipuram bus stand here today.

They raised slogans that 25 years had passed since the demolition of Babar Masjid which was on that spot.

"It's not the people in Kashmir or the Muslims in Ayodhya who oppose the decision of constructing a temple for Lord Rama but protests are staged often in Tamil Nadu," lamented Mr. Guna, an executive member of the outfit.
