Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises – Development Institute Br. (MSME-DI (Br.)) in association with the Coimbatore Sidco Industrial Estate Manufacturers Association (COSIEMA), is to conduct a two-day Industrial Exhibition, MSME EXPO – 2017, on December 15 and 16 at Sree Padmavathy Cultural Centre, Peelamedu, here.
According to a release, around 80 MSME units would exhibit their machining facilities along with 20 major outsourcing companies, buyers and Public Service Units (PSUs). 20 nationalised banks will also participate.
The objective of the Expo is to assist MSME units to showcase their potentials and manufacturing facilities to improve their business through such exhibitions. “This will prove as a common platform to connect the Government with PSUs, large Industries, Multi National Companies and International Business communities with Indian MSMEs."
“The Expo also helps the aspirants interested to start new industry. First generation Entrepreneur, Engineering colleges, Arts and Science colleges can attend this event to arrange for Industrial tour/visit which would motivate the students to think in line of Entrepreneurship,” the release added.
Apart from the exhibition, free seminar and workshops are also being organised as a part of this event. The event is supported by National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC), Small Industries Developement Bank of India (SIDBI) and state bodies like Tamilnadu Small Industries Development Corporation (TANSIDCO), Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation (CTIIC) and District Industries Centre (DIC).
