As mark of tribute to their beloved 'Amma', the former CM and Chief of AIADMK, hundreds of cadres paid floral tributes to her portraits here on Tuesday.
As today marks the 1st death anniversary of J. Jayalalithaa, floral tributes and candles were lit to pay homage. Remembering her good old days, many cadres were in an emotional mood who struggled to pull back their tears as they paid homage. Hundreds of portraits of the leader was spotted at all vanatage points throughout the city.
The cadres also held a silent rally from AIADMK office in Avinashi road to the newly installed Jaya's statue in Anna Silai. The rally was led by MLA Amman K Arjun.
