Enough evidence including CCTV footages from the accident spot have been collected which would be produced to the court, if need be. The issue was blown out of proportion by the DMK MLA .

The CM also showed footages of gigantic banners erected by DMK during the 'Semmozhi Maanadu' held here during 2010. "The whole family of DMK was  sitting under those banners during the Tamil conference and it is surprising that Stalin flings allegations now at us".

Minister SP Velumani remarked that "CM has been sanctioning a number of welfare schemes for Coimbatore. And, all our representations for this Kongu belt has been addressed on priority".

The CM announced  new schemes worth Rs.1328.95  and distributed several welfare assistance.
