Two passengers Sundappan (70) and Kanaraj (55) were killed on the spot after a bus overturned from an overbridge near Avinashi, about 40 km from here, today.
More than 30 passengers sustained injuries after the bus from Avinashi to Annur turned turtle near Attayampalayam village, Avinashi.
The bus lost control as it approached the bridge, and overturned.
Two passengers died on the spot while a few others are reported to be in a critical condition. Investigation is on.
