Traffic diversion for MGR centenary celebration


Coimbatore, Dec. 2 

The city traffic police have announced traffic diversions in view of the MGR centenary celebrations scheduled on December 3 at the VOC Park grounds here.

The following diversions have been notified:

1)Those vehicles from Kerala to Palladam are redirected to go from Velanthavalam to Malumichampatti and then use Chettipalayam road to reach Palladam. 

2) Those vehicles from Pollachi to Palladam are advised to use the Negamam route. 

3) All vehicles from Mettupalayam towards Coimbatore are instructed to use Annur route. 

4) All vehicles from outstations are instructed to use the L&T bypass road to reach Avinashi road, Trichy road, Sathy road and Pollachi roads.

This temporary change in traffic regulations will be enforced from 6 a.m. on December 3 till the end of MGR cenetenary celebrations.
