MGR centenary celebration:CM to inaugurate 39 new projects worth Rs.1328.95 crore

Chief Minister Edapadi K. Palaniswami will inaugurate Rs.1328.95 crore worth of new projects at the MGR centenary celebrations scheduled on December 3 at VOC grounds here.

After unveiling the portrait of MGR on the occasion, the CM will distribute Rs. 118.83 crore worth of welfare schemes to 36,988 beneficiaries followed by distribution of prizes to the winners of various competitions organised for the students in connection with MGR centenary fete, according to an official release.

Speaker of the Tamil Nadu Assembly P. Dhanapal, Deputy Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam along with AIADMK Ministers, MLAs and Chief Secretary Girija Vaidyanathan, are scheduled to participate.
