AIADMK should not hastily plan for an alliance with BJP in the upcoming RK Nagar bypoll. If they join hands, the AIADMK is doomed, predicted U. Thaniyarasu, MLA and President of the Tamil Nadu Kongu Ilaignar Peravai, here on Monday.
Mr.Thaniyarasu is now an ally of the AIADMK and in 2014 he contested on AIADMK ticket.
"After falling-out, Edappadi Palaniswami (EPS) and O. Panneerselvam (OPS) factions of the AIADMK are now united; however their hearts are yet to be united", he observed.
Speaking to the media, the MLA said that "All the three factions of AIADMK - Edappadi Palaniswami, O. Panneerselvam, and Dinakaran should get united as before."
"Political parties including the ruling party in the state cannot erect arches and structures blocking public roads. The death of 32-year-old Raghupathy, who allegedly had died after banging on a pole erected by AIADMK in connection with the MGR centenary celebrations on Coimbatore's busiest location is truly heart-rending. Unbiased action should be initiated against the culprits", he stated.
