M.K. Stalin, Working President of DMK, and his wife Durga were here today to attend the funeral of Dr. Vidhya Gokul, niece of former Minister Pongalur K Palanisamy.
Mrs. Vidhya was also the managing trustee of Kalaignar Karunanidhi Institute of Technology.
According to reports, Mrs. Vidhya passed away on November 26 at a private hospital in the city due to multiple organ failure. Senior politicians including Mr. Stalin took part in the last rites performed at Saravanampatti crematorium this afternoon.
